"Pansy" attended her first show in Ireland, at age 6 months. It was all a bit overwhelming for her but by the time her class was called into the ring, she had settled down well.
We were delighted that Pansy won the puppy bitch class and was graded very promising. This grading meant that she could compete for the "Green Star". The green star was awarded to Poppy, but Pansy was awarded the reserve. Poppy who was Best of Breed, was also shortlisted in the Group.
We forgot to take the camera with us, but captured Pansy on the mobile phone-the quality is not great and we never tidied up beforehand, but no doubt we will get some good photos and Pansy will have her very own gallery of pictures soon.
Pansy's next show was the GSCOGB Championship Show. She was pushed out of the limelight by her litter sister who made a record in the breed by winning the MP class, Bitch CC, BOB,
BPIB and BPIS.
Well what more can we say!!
Pansy has been having a
relaxed time popping in to a
couple of local shows since
the start of the year. At her
first local show she won the
AVNSC Graduate class,
AV Puppy and Utility Puppy
Group 2 (Winner was BPIS).
The following week end
at 2 shows she won 4 firsts,
Best AVNSC and the Utility Puppy Group .
Pansy went to an International Show in Dublin where she competed in the Junior Class. She was graded excellent, was 2nd in her class and was awarded her 2nd Reserve Green Star in addition to being awarded Reserve Best of Breed. All that aside she had a fabulous time, even although we "missed the boat" and got
home a bit later than planned!
