As our dogs are part of our family we wished our affix to reflect that relationship. The affix therefore contains the first two letters of each family member’s first name.
Over the years we have shown & handled different breeds but when we purchased our first Spitz in 1993 we were so endeared by the temperament and personality, we chose to focus on Spitz.
We bought two lovely Japanese Spitz dogs, brothers, who were quite different in type. The children named them-Oscar and Rags.
Showing the Japanese Spitz introduced us to a whole new lifestyle - we became "travelling people" visiting the Midlands, Wales, Ireland and the South of England.
We were lucky to have friends in the South East of England and friends with caravans and awnings so that made the journeys less painfull, knowing that there was a glass or two of something nice at the end of a long journey! These friends are very much responsible for the presence of German Spitz in our home today.
Our beloved Japanese Spitz are now at Rainbow Bridge - probably unable to believe that we still travel hundreds of miles to a show for maybe, if we are lucky, a piece of coloured card. However we are secure in the knowledge that many others share that same passion for paper and so we just keep taking the "normal pills" whilst we feed fosse data and others our details for the next show.
